Where is Gamespot? smiley: frown Isn't it a professional expert review site? The biggest in the branch haven't said a word about Endless Legend. What's wrong with them?

There's several big sites that have not said a word. German Gamestar, 4x-specialists strategyinformer or spacesector, as well as rock paper shotgun or gamespot.

What has been popping up almost immediately, though, are many reviews of Ancient Space and previews of Civ:BE.

I`m still waiting for PCGamer! I hope they will come with a deep and solid review as they usually do, very soon. Krossing fingers for a score somewhere above 80 as the game deserves!

http://mmohuts.com/review/endless-legend or http://www.onrpg.com/articles/editorial/endless-legend-launch-review/ (it's the same review by the same author on two websites...) gave a very detailed interview, rating the game:

Features: 4/5 – Lots of great features to make the game amazing.

Customization: 3/5 – Not much, but a lot more than you expect.

Graphics: 4/5 – The game looks fantastic.

Controls: 4/5 – Only a few minor gripes, but nothing serious.

Community: 5/5 – It’s what you make it.

Overall: 4/5 – Definitely worth the price tag.

Really, a very nice read.

Broken review. Funny thing is he uses ages to figure out that a settler needs 2 population - but has spent 328 hours in civ5. Does he have any history on the civ games and how settler has worked in civ series?

http://civilization.wikia.com/wiki/Settler_(Civ5)

Note that a city has to have at least 2 Citizens before you can buy or train Settlers there.

Is this guy for real? Do they really let people like this do reviews and influence sales? Is this really the quality of reviews games deserve? Man I could even do better than this.

There's no guarantee that this game would work the same as Civ, and the game *does* have the problem that things are not very well documented. If you try to build a settler and you can't, the game should tell you why.

Badken it is not valid to say you have to look for ages when a longstanding tradition in several tbs is to deduct a population. Puzzled for a few seconds sure if it not in the ui. But looking for it a long time? Cmon really thats actually an insult to the intelligence of the gamer. The credability of that review went down the drain for me. And I am not saying the ui ahould not notify of this far from it. But this guy himself should know and should have written it could be a problem to newcomers to the genre. I refuse to believe he did not see this himself after 350 hours of civ5 so my only conclusion can be he says it because he want to say a bad thing. Thats not a review. Thus credability lost. And even we accept the premiss he is totaly new to the genre (even after playing 350 hours) why on earth is he reviewing a genre he has no experience in. Is that a good review? I have no problem with good or bad reviews as long as they have some credability and preferably reviewed by someone experienced in the genre.
