This shouldn't be surprising on a lot of levels. NPR pulled a fantastic April Fool's joke this year. They posted a story entitled "Why Doesn't America Read Anymore?" The text of the "story" was a congratulatory notice explaining that it was an April Fools joke and then posing the question of how many people would post comments without having first read the post. For the yt comments, it is totally normal, for someone who didn't played ES to think it is a civ5 clone, they are stupid but it is understandable.

We played ES, we know the capacity of amplitude to do awesome games, the only thing I hope is that all this stupid comments will disapear after the release, and that when The next civ will put some videos on yt, the comment will be: Man this is look like an EL clone!!!!



I just want to see how deep will EL go in the 4x, and how the 4x games will be influenced to do always better games!

Absolutely amazing. Probably the most in depth video so far, lot of interesting stuff in there. Plus its still only in alpha/pre-alpha and yet there's still so much in their already. Early access can't come soon enough, good work amplitude smiley: biggrin
