The lack of specialization is a problem in CIV5 and Warlock. Eador and FE have some interesting choices that matter.

I'm talking stuff like mutually exclusive buildings, mutually exclusive techs, more race-specific techs, wonders, stuff of that nature. There needs to be specialized cities and reasons to go outside the "best build order/best research order" that absolutely killed your previous effort.

I have been saying that there aren't enough choices until I'm blue in the face. It's the worst thing going for EL right now. All of the other things can and hopefully will be fixed, but the lack of specialization and the lack of any real choice will stick out like a sore thumb.



It absolutely needs to be addressed.
