Diversity of Racial Heroes.

Yes, they should change the classes of some of the heroes currently in-game.
No, they should leave the current heroes as they are.

Well, its debatable indeed but I think we will all agree that HEROES NEED MORE DIVERSITY.

Completely agree with the OP.



This point has come up before in an old thread on hero diversity and the skill trees. The skill tree UI looks designed to have its three branches replaceable, yet all heroes of a given faction are of the same class. I would love to see each faction with access to the heroes corresponding to their unit types. An army of Marines led by a Dawn Officer type hero that charges into the enemy ranks and ties them up strikes me as just right for the Vaulters. Roving Clans without a cavalry hero, on the other hand, feel wrong.

I made my own thread about it but I'll add onto here:



Heroes need more diversity. ESPECIALLY with the fact that each race is basically gender locked (unrelated to OP but wanna say it whenever I can).



Each race really should have at least one ranged and one infantry unit, and depending on the faction I'd like to see Calvary/Support units (with flying units in an ideal world. Could work for Necrophages and Ardent Mages imo).

Also, custom heroes/renaming existing heroes.
