Thanks Shoreyo! I doubt I'll get into the top three against all these great artists, but I was really trying to stay true to the ideas Nos had about the Cultists being heavily reliant on other factions to make up the bulk of their soldiers, workers, etc. Some of the artwork and original ideas presented by others are truly great, but I imagine they will have to be modified to fit with the lore Nos has presented. Hopefully we'll see the official art for the Cultists being a blend between whoever wins this vote and some of the major and minor factions already in the game.

Umm... Buzzkillington's post isn't an entry its where he posted images that fitted my entry in his opinion ._.; Nor do I have two parts, all pics in second post are in "part 1" post.



But yeah, voted Telum, but Buzz's post isn't an entry so it being in the poll baffles me. There were 14 entries and 10 pages and somehow it got on the poll despite being not entry very clearly ._.;

While certainly the best designs are those of Telum ... The concept I like most is definitely the CybreAnS

Those carved like faced helmets looks really awesome, and the stone and flesh city is just .. just...damn good. Telum's entry looks the most promising.

Sadly I had no time to edit my entry as I was away but from what I see Telum has created something really interesting and clearly a lot of people agree with that, which imo is a good thing

Even if its not what Nosferatiel had thought about his faction unids and appereances , i really think Telum art and units must be integrated in the game .

I'm quite baffled myself. I thought it should have been obvious that those pictures I posted where what my mind conjured in reaction to yours and Nos' descriptions of the faction and units.

Welcome to the Faction Creation Competition! We have just reached Quest 2: Hero, Units and City, step 2: the poll!

THE QUESTS



This faction creation is divided in 3 Quests, and will therefore request a real community teamwork. Here's where we stand:



Quest 1: The Biography

• Submit a Name, a Background Story and a Basic Gameplay Idea. [COMPLETED]

• Submit your Hero, Units and City based on the winning Biography. [COMPLETED]

Quest 3: Logo and Ship

• Submit your Logo and Ship based on the winning Biography, Hero, Units and City.
• Vote for your favourite proposal in the forum polls.
• The best three submissions will be chosen for a GAMES2GETHER vote.

QUEST 2 - STEP 1: REMINDER



This competition is purely about visuals! Indeed, we are calling all the artists among you and are encouraging you to participate.

The idea is to use any support you want to show the community how you visualize the look of this faction's units and heroes, as well as architecture for the city. It can be battle scenes, costumes, plans of buildings, everyday life illustrations, references, character designs, etc... anything that can give a good idea of how you imagine the faction.











Don't hesitate to help out each other, try to give constructive feedback on each others' proposals. Keep in mind that this is mainly a Teamwork, not only between quests but also between yourselves with the same goal, make that faction look good!

• Keep in mind that this should be the result of your own work, without any copyright infringement.
• Submissions must be posted in this thread: upload your work directly, as it will allow everyone to view your attachments without downloading anything or being redirected to another website.
• Do not hesitate to describe your work and inspirations

GUIDELINES

We received some really creative submissions (good job guys!) and others that are mainly based of text or references. But once again, we wanted this competition to focus on visuals. If you don't think these should be the winners then simply do not vote for them: we trust you guys can decide what's fair or right and what isn't when it comes to YOUR faction.





THE VOTES

We are now asking you to vote for your favourite submission: drawing, Minecraft representation, description, reference, or original concept etc. You will be able to cast as many votes as you want, but keep in mind that the three submissions that received the most votes will make it to the next stage: the GAMES2GETHER vote, so we'll advise you to limit your choices to 5 submissions max.

I'm myself starting to really get annoyed at amount of effort Amplitude puts into these community things. I mean, I understand that 99 entries takes two hours to read through so its understandable that they missed that one person had two entries, but this time it wasn't even that! How the heck they missed this? Don't they want to put more effort into these community events considering its advertising point for them?



Ugh, I just have to keep reminding myself that its a minor thing and it doesn't matter -_-; But I'm by nature person who believes that things should be done "right".... I'll try to keep my mind off this somehow... Probably involving a lot of gaming..
