BTW: I edited my insignias adding some Telum masks(with permission of course) and abadoned all the Tomoe versions. I also tryed to edit some of Telums masks into 2 of the whale pictures xd.

Emblem : The Hollow Sun







There are many who would say that the Endless were like the Sun, shining their light across the cosmos. Bringing the Promise of peace, prosperity, and hope to of all of Auriga. But that Promise was broken. The Endless are nowhere to be found. All that remains is their abandoned and rotting cities, their toxic technologies that poison the environment, their hellish experiments, their lies and their crimes.



The Hollow Sun represents the truth. The Endless were not great. For all of their wonder and brilliance, it was built on the suffering and pain of the younger races. This truth will be known. All of Auriga will be made to see. This message will be carried to the four corners of Auriga and by the Queen's will, the stars above.











Ships built by the Cult are built upon the same technology that has given rise to the Omcets. The vessels themselves are low and squat, designed to keep a low profile in the water. Likewise these ships employ an organic-mechanical means of propulsion that sacrifices some speed in exchange of being nearly silent.

In case you didn't notice, previous competition had hero design, unit design and city design all in the same and we didn't have separate polls despite those not really being the same thing. And you were allowed to take part in competition without all three and I think it was stated that if person who had only submitted, say, hero design had won, they would still have been able to give input on city and unit design despite the entry that people voted for lacking those things.

Okay, Let's start:



The Logo:





inspired by the post above and the Price-valiant Comics, this is my Suggestion for the cultist-logo.



The face (taken from Tellums artwork) is here the main Symbol of the cult. At the top of this logo there are sunbeams. They symbolize the new Age, the new dawn that the cult bring over Auriga. The cult is from now on like the sun - everyone Need it, the cult is the only Thing that's worth living for.



In the bottom there are two sides:

One in the colour of mithril (or any other rare metal) and one in blood/gore red.

The silver/mithril/what ever you immagine stands for the Queen, for the perfect form of life, for a greater existence, and existence in perfection and beauty.

The Red one stands for the Unspoken One, red, the end of all, destruction, war, the end of the unbelievers. And also red for the love to the queen and for all the blood that the cult is ready to shed for her.





The ship:



I'm not good in grafics, and I'm not sure about this but here it is:



The Picture is from Google, I don't found a clear source, I found it on diffrent sites under different names etc.

I edited it marginally according to my Imagination.







Because the cult has very advanced Technologies I had the idea that the ship has to be like a kind of spaceship. Like a early Prototype of the ship, with which the cult wants to leave the Planet. It is driven by Dust, armored with a mix of steel (or any kind of metal) and organic stuff that found in the cities and armed with Canons or "magical" weapons. (electro-shocker, ice-bolt-maschineguns, or any other kind of Dust-driven gun)

The ship needs a "cold" Chassis, a bit like an submarine or a human spaceship in ES, just in the water.



So, that's It, again sorry for my bad english, but I hope you like my ideas.

Hey well guys I realy would like to have some face mask on my sea beasts (which actually just should be sea mammel like...a whale is just a good reference to something we terrans can imagine if we here the word "big sea animals"). You know just "boats" seem a bit of boring to me^^. Normaly i wanted to do some Water Striders...but there were some problems (Why they do not walk on land too? hey those are Silt Striders etc...)



The idea to give them huge masks was my idea in the first place but you see for an non artist it isent that easy to merge those things together in a case of a flag its way more easier to create some crossover edits. A non participat in the competetion could be maybe help me by giving me some tips how i could create such things.

As for the ship itself, I imagine something Kaiju-esque, like a giant amphibious animal or giant that's been indoctrinated by the Cult. Sort of like this:





I unfortunately haven't been able to edit this Picture to more closely resemble what I had in mind, but Imagine that the cult has grafted a huge copy of the masks that the cultists wear onto the creatures head, and that the hump on it''s back has been hollowed out and/or replaced with crew quarters resembling Telum's architecture. I like the logo, its simple, evil, a bit futuristic and very stylish. And the ship - It's like in my immagination, 100% agree with, If I had the skill to draw the ship by myself it would be like this. I don't like whales :P

I see your point and i agree with something catchy for the symbol , i wasn't trying to be rude ( honestly) since you are a nice community member( at least in what i can see), it would be really nice if we could add a native creature of Auriga oceans to form the sea like you just said , and outfit it with masks design on side and what not .

To be fair, Sharingan is really just Tomoe symbol slapped on top of a eye. Though you can tell he got it from Sharingan because of all red on black. I personally think logo is way too complex, I think logos should be simple and catchy, not overly designed and complex. I personally don't have good ideas though since majority of them are related to theathre mask theme. Boat is rather cool, but I'm pretty sure Auriga doesn't have humpback whales. Symbol: The bleeding sun









Lore:



The Cultist flag is called the "the bleeding sun of the eternal end" and symbolizes the dawn of a new era which the Cult wants to bring to Auriga.The flag is meant to show the rising sun on a black background. For the Cultists, black means the cold and darkness of the harsh winters which was brought by the delinquent Endless and it is commonly taught to children that the sun refers to the new dawn when the Queen will walk over the plains of Auriga.The red dust which surrounds the rising sun shows the blood of the infidels which will be shed when that time has come. In the middle of the sun the all-seeing eye of the Queen (or the face of the Unspoken in Telum versions) can be seen which always guarded the cult. When the unholy dawn of the cult takes place the Queen will judge all beings of Auriga and the heat of the bleeding sun will purify the entire planet from any trace of the false gods and their bootlickers.

Idea is that the "ships" are actually cultists belonging to a marine animal race actually they could be also water dinosaurs:



The "Wailords" are one of the oldest species of Auriga.They are quite intelligent, although they never developed technology but their consciousness is quite nearly as well developed as that of a homo sapiens. They appear as often large, obligate aquatic mammals with a streamlined body , two fore flippers and a tail with a pair of nostril or nostrils located high on the top of the head .Vestigial hind limbs are located within the body wall .They existed already at times of the Concret Endless and were popular as delicacies for them . In fact, they were so tasty and delicious that they have been driven to the edge of extermination . At the time where the first Endless thus began to virtualize themselfes only a few dozen Wailords remained, living in zoos where they were allowed to jump as young animals through fire rings until they were big enough to have slaughtered and sold in the form of fillets . After the Endless destroyed themselves in their civil war , the stock of Wailords recovered slowly. But even now, thousands of years after their tormentors vanished, there are only a few hundred of them left. Although the Endless disappeared so did not the hate of the Wailords towards them. The unnatural winters also are still damaging the ecosystem of the seas of Auriga and the Wailords know that this is also the fault of the unholy endless .



Although it is hard to believe, but the Wailords were one of the first species who joined the cult and in the end we know what a huge multi culutral organisation the cult is. Their infinite hatred was fertile ground for the preaching of the Unspoken who visited the Wailords in the depths of the oceans.



Today revealed they serve the Cult as the conveyances of the seas . The cultists have developed over time , various superstructures for the back of the Wailords . Large structures with gigantic chimneys. You can see many gears turning and winding, generating power to enhance the swimming speed of the Wailords .Tufts of white smoke filled the air, creating clouds over them.



The Back of a Wailord is almost a city in itself. Many manners of industry can be found here Everywhere you look you can see steam pipes providing power for the living quarters. These pipes , filled with copper wiring , are like extra veins of the Wailords. The massive power plant on the back, luminescent at all hours , and serves as lighthouse aswell.You can not walk five feet without hearing the release of pressure . The skin above the waterline is littered with grime , moss and all other manners of shells and forms the base for these swimming cities.



The Wailords will not rest and support the cult tirelessly and do their best in supporting the Queen until the last reminder of Endless is extinguished from the glitz of Auriga.
