Remember : pre-alpha footage. Noone should ever say that this or that is under/overpowered smiley: wink

The actual build has less pwerfull archers. And the AI is still.... very very very very (did I say very ?) early.

EDIT: no, there's no spells. Dust is the magic thingy. But no, no things like spells. Maybe later. Maybe not.

I know what you mean smiley: smile

Personally, I usually play on medium maps - you still can get some juicy early game action but it's not too hectic and you also have more land to explore and more room to expand

Large is a bit too big without the ability to cross oceans

Next video. Plenty of action! smiley: smile

Enjoy it while you can. My problems with EL continue and I'm still unable to record more footage. When that changes (and if my savefiles are ok) I'll upload an "emergency" 20-minute long part so you guys can have your healthy dose of EL while I record a longer episode

Don't cry, maybe it'll be ok! smiley: sad

At the very least, I found something that could've possibly annoyed some future EL players and now the devs are probably going to fix it.

Yay...

In this run, I didn't bother researching rookery (which gives you access to more heroes) because the patch I was playing on had ridiculously expensive heroes and I knew I wouldn't be able to afford them. They are a lot cheaper now though.

Speaking of which, our non-public version of EL was patched recently and I'm having some difficulties with it. Part 4 will be uploaded soon but I cannot say when part 5 will get here... that's assuming that it ever will. I seriously hope that I'll be able to continue the series since part 5 is where I was supposed to start conquering cities smiley: cry

You can have more than one hero. You just need to research the market access for heroes.

You're not bound by their race.

I love long games, so I tend to play on the largest map with maximum number of opponents. Since I can only play a few turn where and there, I never feel the pressure of having to win in a any given amount of time.

Archers sure look powerful or the lack of A.I combined arms is making them look so.

It also seems magic, spells is not part of this game world.

Pretty much my feelings on the matter. I would prefer that outposts in that sense weren't included.

They're great videos and I really appreciate them, but for the love of all things good, try slowing down just a little. smiley: smile it would make it easier to understand you and it would help me see what you're actually doing sometimes!

Part 3 is starting to show up. Lots of battles in it, including sieges. PANCZASU finally finds a quest...

Normally, that's how I play as well, but since right now you can only win by domination or score victory on turn 200, I tend to avoid larger maps

EDIT: Meanwhile, the amazing devs of Amplitude studios created a workaround for my issue and I can now resume recording!
