Description

The quest description claims that taking control of a planet in a system adjacent to the minor civilization's home system will complete the quest, but peacefully assimilating a second minor faction in an adjacent system does not complete the quest.

You’re right. If someone invades or assimilates a system already colonized, the quest is not completed. Sorry about that, I’ve just fixed it.

Riftborn Blues - Part 2


Description:

The quest prompts me to increase the system level of the Lynx system.  This system is already at the max level of four.  As an aside, I'm playing as the Cravers but I do have 18 units of Riftborn population enslaved.  So far, the quest just sits there doing nothing (turn 139).  I haven't tried razing/recolonizing the system.  I've attached the autosave from the turn where the quest appears (turn 137).  I did try loading the autosave from the previous turn (turn 136) and advancing and it looks like the system chosen and the reward is not fixed (it chose the Caelum system and had an influence reward instead).

What a Good Idea


Description

Completing the first objective of the Inspire (science) branch of the first chapter of the Sophon faction quest does not cause the next part of the quest to appear in some circumstances. To trigger the bug: load the attatched save, send the exploration fleet orbiting HD 50388 to the unexplored Lumeris system to the southwest and then, when it completes the objective by arriving next turn, note that the next part of the faction quest does not appear. I would guess that this issue has something to do with the lack of unowned systems in the relevant constellation. If memory serves, the next steps in the quest chain require finding a specific system in the constellation where the player completes the first objective and then scanning curiousities there, but every nearby system in that constellation either has no planets or has a colony belonging to some other faction, which might make them ineligible for those steps of the chain.

Can confirm that one still exists. Have it my Queue currently playing as Unfallen. L4 Planet to b e Leveled up. Not going to happen. ;)

ENFER is taking control of the Sophon faction quests!


I'm playing the current version with the G2G Balance Mod with a custom faction using the Sophon quest line.


Once I get to the branching path for #3 The AI in the High Castle, I don't get a choice on which path to take.  There are three choices listed and any of them I pick show my choice as confirmation.  However, after checking the quest log, it always shows that I chose the science route of exploring the galaxy.  I also tried a couple turns after choosing the military route in which I had to increase manpower.  After reaching the required manpower, the quest did not move on (in fact, it dropped my manpower down to 0).

Craver Faction Quest.


Name

The one that spawns the system "Infinite Factory" (sorry was playing another civ when the bug happened).


Description

The system is inaccessible despite having unlocked the free travel tech as another civ. The system couldn't be discovered by probes/system vision despite having unlocked all the the techs in the game, had to befriend the craver and ask for map share to find it. It cannot be peacefully converted either despite being at peace with the Hive. Doesn't seem intended because I could reach the Sophon's quest system in the same game.

Not sure if you can see that but I can't do anything with the ship. And the ship I'm supposed to catch don't do anything either. And it also haven't moved either.


I reloaded it once.. Did not work.. I can still not attack.

I defeated the Hissho ships for The Ripple Effect quest with an Ark (it happened to be arriving the turn after the quest spawned). However, I failed the quest:

Description

If you merge the ship with your exploration fleet, the ship does not become consumed when reaching a friendly colony. And no horatio pops appear.


Secondary bug: If you finish the turn without clicking the planned moves button the quest completion pop-up is instantly deleted.

The Antihero With A Thousand Faces - Part 3


Description

I chose the option in the quest that needed me to return the Photobomber's ship to one of my planets. The next turn, I got a message telling me that the quest had failed becuse his ship had been destroyed, despite the fact that it was still alive. Perhaps its because I merged his ship into the fleet that caught him?

I cannot trigger this deed to complete.  I have three populations with 50+ units.  I have multiple star systems with these populations on the same system in order to stack the bonuses.  I even passed the population bonus laws from the two minor factions.  Do I need to get a third minor faction to 50 population units and pass their law?  Do I have to cram 50 population units into a single system?

Description:

I failed this quest many turns ago, but the ping still appears on the map for the Adana system.  I swear I've seen this bug for other failed quests in my other games, but I have a complete bug report for this one.  Kind of annoying because I see the ping on the map, but there is no way to backtrack the ping to a quest in the quest log (that I'm aware of).  Very annoying because it doesn't even track to an active quest but a failed quest.

Description

1-Sometimes, if you assign the hero 2 to a fleet or leave it unassigned, then it is impossible to complete the mission. If you assign the hero 2 to a system (even if it has more than 4 levels) the mission is never complete.

2-If you place a outpost in the mission planet, and fail (other race colonice the planet, or a pirate destroy your outpost) the mission it remains unfinished until the end, although later you succeed in colonizing or appropriating the planet.

Description

The objective of the "A swarm of Locust" quest is to destroy most of the 8 pirate fleets, but after destroying four of them no more pirate fleets have apeared.

As for "Riftborn Blues" am supposed in inrease the level of the Veni star system when it has already been upgraded to its Max

By the way I also noteced that some systems remain pinging even after the quest is complete.

I have the same problem with the 'A Swarm of Locusts' quest.  Fortunately, I have a save game right before I kill the last visible pirate fleet.  As soon as I kill this fleet, the 'Click to focus' button disappears and the quest is perpetually stuck.  I recall that when I first got the quest, clicking the 'Click to focus' button cycled through 8/8 of the fleets (some were not visible in enemy territory, but the pings were still visible).  Some time along the way, I presume that enemy factions killed the other fleets.
