Could someone pleaaase upload that picture of a craver boarding a ship is an art from Endless space 2 i would love to use it as a wallpaper for my pc.

You mean this picture?

Unfortunately while I try to get the biggest available images I could not find a nice large version of that picture. I'll soon be reorganizing the thread to make finding specific and related images more easily though.

Thanks it looks great! i hope they include boarding actions in ship to ship combat thats the first thing i though when i saw that pic i think that craver ships would have great bonus towards boarding if that was the case.

Maybe it could be a unique action during melee phasee. So if you don't kill a cravers fleet because it comes to close you may lose.

It would actually be nice if there is a faction that specializes in boarding operations (great melee damage with chance to capture enemy vessels). So on a strategic and tactical level, their concern would be to survive until melee range, while everyone else would focus on destroying them before that.

Presumably though, fire-and-flee would be universally lethal to such a group. Could still be fun, balance be damned.

Thats sounds perfect for the cravers judging from their art concepts they look like they do alot of boarding during fleet to fleet fights i mean it could be an additional module like fighters and such ( boarding pods) and craver ships could have bonus towards them like less tonnage or higher chances of boarding.

Maybe, on the other hand there are a number of humans pictured in EL pictures who aren't part of any faction at all.

Lots of these links died when the forums were moved over to the new platform, that's probably why the pictures aren't accessible anymore.

The Wiki will probably be the best resource, but I'm going to try and get back at least the artwork.
