But now I wonder, if Sophons are ruled by a triumvirate, who are we supposed to play? It feels like there's no room for an emperor...
Is there room for an administrative AI network or a special project director in your heart instead of emperor? That is how I rationalized ES1 when I was playing them
I suspect the triumvirate is just going to be lore and not in game heroes as the heroes on the wiki seem to have no connection.
But now I wonder, if Sophons are ruled by a triumvirate, who are we supposed to play? It feels like there's no room for an emperor...
I also wonder how the members of the triumvirate are elected (if they are supposed to be elected), and if they are available as ingame heroes, or if they're going to have an impact on Sophon gameplay. Or is it just about lore?
EDIT : I really like seing the different ships (in 3D! that's awesome!), but I wish we could have a way to scale their size. It would be great ;)
I got a weird lighting glitch for the Battleship class the first time I used the 3D view though. It seems to have fixed itself after I refreshed the page, but I thought I should probably mention it anyway. Not sure where the best place to report it would be really.
The designs are great though - quite different to how they were in ES1 but still capturing the character of the Sophons. The moving parts are certainly quite a striking addition.
