Well I guess I know which faction to murder first in the EA. Seriously the lore for these guys is terrifying. Awesome, but still terrifying.

Looks really cool, although how does the consumption of other factions work? Also, it looks like all of the newly added heroes aren't animated like the others

I don't truly see how the faction ability works, need to test it I guess :p

But anyway I think the nomad thing will be better than the Rovin Clans in EL cause "Setseke ho!" was truly situational especially if you can create smaller Arcs (like a second system). 

Also really curious about the False Prophet, maybe it's a Questline-Victory oriented Faction.

This is awesome. Found my new favourite faction. Religious zealots are just so my thing.

Any idea on how the draining and nomads mechanics are going to work ? 

One of the previews explained that the nomadic mechanic is that 90% of their infrastructure stays within their ships.    They move from planet to planet for new resources (and likely populations to absorb.)

I love the fact that they seem to be a weird combination of the Broken Lords, Cultists, Roving Clans, and Pilgrims while still coming off as totally unique...

I am also very intrigued by assimilating mechanics. I look forward to testing it at EA.

The Vodyani have just been added to the official Endless Space 2 wiki.  They are the fourth major faction coming to the Steam Early Access version of Endless Space 2!

Well, gods arent necessary all powerful, omniscient myths. According to their heroes lore, they actually seek and MEET Virtual Endless, they just reaaaally respect them.

I think they seem them not as gods in the traditional sense, but beings that have transcended what it means to be mortal and obtaining a level of power they themselves cannot yet comprehend, something that might as well be a god in their eyes and therefore something they aspire to be themselves.

Similar to the Covenant's reverence of the Forerunners.

Yeah, these guys are shaping up to be hands-down the most interesting faction in the game.  I'm really starting to worry about the others, hopefully the Vodyani didn't drain all the ideas from the team.

But something frightens me inside my fan soul . In the Academy, they say Varb St Zouieina was a member of the Zolya Clan . A member of the Vaulters clan ! That would mean the vaulter encounter the Vodyani and lose against them ?! That could mean they're no Vaulters

Or that could mean they can be got some rivalry against some Faction (if Vaulter still exist) Like for example Vaulters don't like AT ALL the Vodyani.

That could be interesting , need to know more  !
