I think that's something that everyone was confused by in the first game. Hopefully if the Sowers make a return (please let this happen Amplitude) that one detail will be retconned so that it was the Concrete Endless who created them. If that change was made, perhaps a future expansion could be focused on what happened to the Concrete, adding the Amoeba and Sowers as major factions, along with new events and questlines detailing the history and eventual fate of the Concretes? There seem to be a lot more factions with ties to the Virtuals this time around so it would be nice to balance it out a bit.

Good point on the mavros/sophons one. I think they should be together as well.

I still don't know why we start with another alien race in the beginning if we are just starting to explore outer space. I think a dev said that in the release that should be fix but I cant remember
