I knew the Riftborn looked familiar...

Apart from the apparent Automaton/Harmony looks, they were shown to us from day one of the EA!!!

Yet, we still got trolled pretty hard with all that pug nonsense. Well played Amplitude, well played.

Yep. They were hiding under our noses this whole time. We didn't even notice until now because they were never featured in any other artwork.

This picture was my main reason to think they were Automatons.

This, and the art some of us saw in B2G when visiting Ampitude.

Honestly, I saw them and said to myself "MK2 Automatons. Great.". :D

The lower blue square seems to be a Kalgeros, seen from an angle. So that'd leave the guy/gal/thingamabob in the upper blue square, or the Xenomorph-looking thing in the pink square.

Edit: I'm also disappointed that there's no Unfallen in the Picture.

The one in the purple is shown before. It's definitely not at all like a pug and I would be deeply disappointed if it actually turns out to be a major faction. I'm kinda expecting a mech.

If I there's indeed a hind for the next major faction in the announcement pic, I'd put my money either on the mechanical dude on the right (upper blue) that kinda looks like a pug.

but if the next faction is indeed mechanical, pug could be more like P.U.G. me thinks.
