I don't thing that the alien on the lower right is a Kalgeros. The thick, white fur is missing and the head-shield of the Kalgeros has a different shape.

Right so, I've been looking at the image and have been going through it. If you're curious about the original image, here is the link to it

Now, this is what I managed to put together in 5 minutes, excuse the poor quality please.

Now, red stands for faction that we have already known. For example, the hulky person in the middle belongs to the Craver and the big headed person next to him is a Horatio. Blue stands for objects that are either too disconcerting to figure out what it is or doesn't seem like it would be added as a main faction.

Purple is the big one . If you look at the bottom left, you might notice a strange creature with a clear dome-like head. I believe this is the new faction being added in. I only have two reasons to support this and I don't think they're very convincing.

First reason is that the creature is well hidden compared to the most other characters. (For example, a creature that seems like a Sophon is scrunched up behind and between bodies in the bottom right)

Second reason has to do with the name of the picture which is "pug". Now, lets look at a pug. Compared with other dog breeds, a pug's face looks definitely weird. Now compare the strange creature with the characters that I highlighted. Most of them (Red Ones) seem to have humanoid faces. The purple one seems to be vastly difference, resembling more of a mushroom or a crab rather than a human's face. This may sound weird but I'm ready for all possible ideas.

Would be really interested in other people's opinion of the image. Really curious with what the new faction is going to be.

I'll take my chances on the alien on the bottom left.

That's good to hear!

I reckon it's the dome-headed thing in the pink box. The design fits the green alien in the escalator picture found by vahouth, possibly we're looking at the back/top of its head?

Either that or a civilisation of hyper intelligent trams.

If you look even closer, you can its eye which look even more like the aliens in the escalator picture.

On closer examination of the original picture, I'm convinced it's the green alien guy! If you squint you can just about make out two eyes!

Ah.

The lower blue square seems to be a Kalgeros, seen from an angle. So that'd leave the guy/gal/thingamabob in the upper blue square, or the Xenomorph-looking thing in the pink square.

Edit: I'm also disappointed that there's no Unfallen in the Picture.

Kalgeros have fur, the creature in the purple box seems to be clear and without fur. I highly doubt it's a Kalgeros.

Unless you know... he shaved.

It's the green guys with saucer heads, we all know it by now.

What?

Kalgeros come from a primitive society on their homeworld... it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to assume that one who immigrated to a civilised galactic empire would adopt certain customs and behaviours from other people. Like shaving.

Agreed, just look at the Craver here being polite and not chokeslamming everyone. The new faction being the green guys posted above is plausible, as there's one as the art for an Economy tech. As the techs have *no* minor faction members present (one has Sophons, for example), the green guys are definitely going to be a major faction at some point, even if it's not right now.

Yeah, and this is just the moment when we have that new pug smiley.

Too much coincidences.

Or maybe endless spacetrams have holes in their roofs just for Craver's grips ?

Hmm.

What is the message, concidering there is 18 characters in the image ? If you multiply 18 per the number of Craver's arms, then divide by 18 because ENDLESS SPACE_2PUG = 18 characters, then you have the exact number of legs a pug have !

"What can I name this image? Oh sweet, we have an ADORABLE new pug emote, let's throw that in there."

"What have I done?!"

It's clearly the tram, if not the tram then tram-janitor-robot while green-head who's in loads of tech images is minor faction material, corporate minor faction as they're too squishy to have a strong military.

No I mean, I would never expect the Kalgeros to look like that.

It's the Kalgeros version of male pattern baldness.
