First of all, sorry for necroing this thread. But I have haunted several streams and the discord now and still don't have a clear answer. If a ship has -100% Critical hit damage (by stacking 2 Hyperium shields), does it receive 0 dmg when being hit by a critical hit, or does the ship receive dmg as if it was a regular hit?

I had different answers.
But i think, most people said they do not stack.

Could always test it out. I'd be willing to go 1v1 with someone for the express purpose of testing this and other mod effects. Not really caring about winning, we'd just basically keep testing things.

if you want to guarantee critical hits, stack "turret recovery fields" on your ships, i think you can get up to 100% crit chance on a carrier with 7 or 8 support slots
