does not apply to the 33% sci/dust conversion but applies to other production. also unless you specificly move the item to the top of the list even if you buy things out then it still does not give you the production conversion.

If there is extra in the turn they should be used next turn right?



I believe I am correct in the assumption that all systems by default can store a single turns worth of production.

Spillover industry does not affect improvements with indefinite or fixed turn limits as far as I can tell. All ind conversions are considered indefinite turn improvements in the game code. (fixed turn improvements are like the Harmony Contamination Barrier, which require a fixed number of turns to build) The game code isn't actually converting industry to resource x, its telling the star system to produce more of resource x while producing no industry.



Coincidentally, indefinite/fixed turn improvements also seem to reset spillover industry so you should be careful with that when playing Automaton.

When I am playing late game Automaton, I almost always have that Pop improvement built on new systems, it just make me hate that when I have to use up all saved industry before building that.
