Yea, diplomacy is the weakest component of ES. PERIOD!!!

^^ I argue that unbalanced galaxy/game generation is the weakest component of ES. After all, Diplomacy makes no difference one way or the other if you are slapped into a part of the galaxy which has all old systems in a young galaxy with little to absoloutley no early strategic resources, whilst having drawn no corporate or administrative heroes to help your plight. Did I mention being screwed over by two craver empires to either side of your Galaxy Ring Pocket, whilst both of said empires have easy access to an adjacent and empty pocket? Real scenario, btw.

Are you using classic or Disharmony, because trades are a lot more balanced in Disharmony (creative title, though )
