I didn't think that a pair of systems could become this powerful.

These screencaps are on vanilla Disharmony.











That's a Horatio custom race focused on population and heroes.

Those heroes are clones and nearly max-level.

I owned about half the galaxy before my competitors had their eighth system.

The game was awesome smiley: smile





Is it possible to grow more than one population a turn?

I think not, though when I played as the Harmony some days ago I think it happened that my pop rose more then 1, but I'm not sure on that regard.

As for Horatio, I never had a pop growth of more then 1 (but then again, I don't really look at all the numbers on all my systems all of the time.)

Clear YES



so far as i know there is no limit how much Pop you can get in one turn.

But your food output has to be very very High.

Test it yourself empty a high Food System with Soldier Ships and look how fast it regenerates.

Yep. Vicarious did a test to prove it to me, and the sandbox mod uses it to create large amounts of population.



And Sov, good luck getting anyone to play another MP game with you if your systems turn out like that ^^ smiley: stickouttongue What system/faction is that btw? Is that a UE affinity home system after the entire galaxy has been conquered? +All influence improvements?

I didn't know that your pop can grow faster than 1 at a turn. Is that somehow visible in the interface other than noting down pop before turn and then looking after? Will it display something else than "1"?



I ask because I had a custom race in MP that was meant to grow extremely fast. I eventually changed it to less food production because I thougt it's wasted potential since they wouldn't grow faster than 1/turn anyways. The games with the new race didn't seem to work so well for a reason that I couldn't actually tell. But that might well be the explanation.

No it will never show something else then 1 in the interface even if u would get over 9000 Pop in 1 turn.

Too late. We already discussed the possibilities of a UE home system. Not to mention that even as an American, I am pretty sure "HeimatSystem" is not how you say "Colony" or "Outpost" in German smiley: stickouttongue so I am pretty sure I know how you have done this sorcery...



Oh and not to mention the smiley: science output in that system is comparatively Very poor, so yeah.
