Playing a race with Sophon affinity, I noticed a tech that gave my ships a defensive bonus in "allied" space. I interpreted this to not include my space. Is this correct?

don't quote me on this, but the only way that technology makes sense is if it includes your own space as well. it would be contrived otherwise.
