Has anybody tested to see what team spirit actually does?



According to the text, the effect is:

+3% damage per ship class

+1% defense per ship class



But this is what the code seems to be saying the effect is if I'm interpreting right:

+2% damage per CP

+2% defense per CP



Needless to say that's a pretty big difference. At CP 20, that's +40% dmg/def according to the code whereas fielding all 6 ship class (including colony ship) would give you only +18% dmg/+6% def.

It says per a ship class right? so it would be +3% damage for every class of ship not cp. because, 3*6=18 and 1*6=6

Thanks for this info, Antera! You can bet that I'll be adding Team Spirit to my Pilots as soon as it comes up from now on. I didn't see it as very powerful before, but now I'm impressed.

As best I can tell from the code it appears to be based on neither the CP cap nor how many different classes of ship are unlocked or in the fleet, but on the total number of ships in the fleet. So with a CP cap of 20 if you filled the fleet with 20 1CP ships the bonus would be +60% damage and +20% defense, but if you filled the fleet with 10 2CP ships the bonus would be +30% damage and +10% defense. in other words, it appears to work the same as the fleet wide bonuses on repair and power modules. Where if you have 10 ships all with with the +15% fleet damage power module installed you'd have +150%, but if you lost 1 ship in round 1 of phase 1 the total bonus would drop to +135% in round 2 of phase 1.



You could change the TooltipVisibility="false" code in the HeroDesriptor file to TooltipVisibility="true" in order to see exactly how much of a bonus you're receiving so you can verify what exactly is adding to the bonus.

It seems Antera is right, "Team Spirit" provides +2% damage min/max and +2% defense per CP.



I also found in the same file that all Harmony hulls receive the same bonus:

I was aksing me that for a long time, i read about that hidden Harmony Bonus somewhere a long time ago in the forums but at the moment i asked a VIP after it, I wasent able to find it on the board again or in the Code (thx Vic)and show it to someone.

Should be easy to test.

Build 5 weapon frigate, check individual power, then combine into fleet. smiley: stickouttongueower: Should go from 102% to 110% if I understand correctly.

Nope X% Bonuses and Maluses like for example Deadly Weapons are not counting in for the calculation of smiley: stickouttongueower: Points.

That sucks... Okay, someone change that value from 0.02 to 1 and then we should see whether it make a difference.

Okay i tested it for you guys i changed the value from 2% to 10000002% to see cleary if the Harmony Ship hulls are affected,this are the results:







Aso you can see cleary the changed values created a invulnarable Cthulu God ship, with only a few Tier 1 Kinetics (every bullet does a bazillion damage) and 1 Tier one Defense each ^^

therefore the "Harmony Team Spirit" provides a hidden +2% damage min/max and +2% defense per CP



ITS NOT just a dead modifier.



This is a pretty powerfull modifier (up to 52% Damage and 52% Defense added) exp: The High Defense Modifier + Cruiser hull+ Metal Memory

(maxed out this would be more then 10 Ranks of Optimal Defense and 4 Ranks of Deadly Weapons for free.)



Now we have to see:





If it is intended that it will get a proper Description and Tooltip Ingame.
