Sorry - new to all this - just to the game and am desperate to get it up and running but I'm obviously missing something really straightforward



The disk I've got is Endless Space PC/MAC DVD-ROM and it has the MacOS picture on the front but seems to contain only the Windows files. Do I download the Mac version from somewhere?



Any help greatly appreciated - please be gentle as I'm sure this is something obvious that I'm missing!

You could redeem your game key on steam, and download the game via their servers.

It does surprise me that there are no mac install files on the CD though..

Yeah, having a hard copy of a steam game is basically just a glorified steam game code, so the mac installation files are routinely left out of it. I believe there is an activation code on the back of the Disharmony User Manual (The booklet on the inside of the DVD case). You should be able to click the Add Game button on your steam account and redeem this code, which should allow you to download the mac version.



I say 'should' because I've never installed my hard copy of ES, so I'm only theorizing and going off what the user manual says

The product code to redeem on Steam should be on the back of the game manual; it's written on the copy actually.
