The UE.I love the aesthetics of their ships and I think the theme is more realistic than the usual space liberals humans seem to be in these types of games.

The main human faction (I forget their name), as I enjoy their economy and tough ships.

But I much prefer Vanilla, and am very bad at using heroes.

I think Im just bad at the game overall.

I'm fairly new to the game, but so far whilst I haven't been able to get a win with them I'm really liking the feel of the Hissho. I think they're a very interesting take on the whole warrior culture race idea, a faction that is more dedicated to the battle themselves than whether they win or lose.

I'm also liking the Vaulters, but then I've always been a Dwarves fan.

Horatio definitely.

Duplicating hero is very coooooool.

Imagine assigning multiple high-level heroes to multiple planets/fleets...

I've never actually played Horatio, and I play almost exclusively Vanilla. However, Horatio affinity has become my favorite. All those high-level late game clones really spoil me.

I have 3 "favorites" so far, depending on my mood.

For a fast domination type game, I like the Sophons for their research boost and the Amoeba for the ability to keep an eye on everyone.

For a more leisurely game, I'm liking the Horatio so far. The hero cloning ability is nice for both the early buildup and late fighting, even if it's a tad expensive.

In terms of lore and appearance of course the Sowers i mean they are so cute

But close second are the Cravers the are cute too...in a way ; )

Both also have unique playstyles which is important to me.

For me its definitely the Sowers because of their ability to exploit industry throughout the entire game. I think it gives them a very unique play-style.

But close second is the Hissho. Even though I think they are one of the lesser powerful, I still enjoy playing them.
