Not trying to push buttons or kick any dead horses, but I just saw SotS:Ground Pounders, and that's exactly how I envisioned ground assaults in ES.

Obviously nowhere near that kind of detail, but that kind of interaction. A terrestrial battle based on the space combat mechanics.



by the way, I love the fighters/bombers from ES: D. That addition lets me enjoy space combat again since I can pick and choose which squadron I want to follow.

true :/ But well that was somewhat to expect. Amplitude's focus lies elsewhere now as the game has reached its third year since release.

It's more about keeping the list of needed things alive for ES2 I guess. If there is no plan in the near future for it's release, than maybe another one or two patches to fix a couple of the big problems left with ES: D

2 Years since release

before that it was beta wasent it?



also i think someday when Endless Legend is out of Beta Endless Space should get some attention back.

Just a few small tweaks and then they move on. Nothing that even requires any new art work, just some balancing and tiny fixes.

Four things I hope they do for a final update:



1. Give me an easy way to move something to the top of the build queue.

2. Further improve stability of the game in multiplayer.

3. Give me an option to disable the escape key from exiting to the game menu.

4. Give me a way to turn off the background on the map. (There are a couple of other minor color-blind related issues I'd like done as well, but this one is the hardest for me to deal with.)

Yes, also a full screen colony list when looking at the empire management screen.
