Most 4x games are single player, so saying that the community is dead is a little far fetched.



It's as alive as you want it to be, even if the devs are working on other projects at the moment.

Same here. I love 4x (especially the space kind), it's my favorite genre to play.

Ah, well, when you say managers, do you mean Iceberg Interactive? Because I think every single person at Amplitude cares about the final game, but some of them might be hesitant to interact with us directly because of the collective experience of developers on the internet.

No you didnt understand me, I mean, they care about community and not only about money. The managers want money but the Dev Team is also wanting to provide fun and entertainment to its fans !

A studio that wants to make money? Every business does. They are young, and all of this is growing pains, so I think it will all work out in the end. I just wish it would work out in the middle too.. if you know what I mean.

I disagree. Plenty of people still talk here, but the dev's practically abandoned ES, so what's the point of wishful thinking. Let's see where this latest bit of communication leads us. It has to be a two way street.

Maybe the "active" community is not only on this forum. You can try the french CPC forum, where games are still frequently planed.

Hi, Last time I played ES was in 2013. and I'm considering to install the game and hit some new turns again...

Please, can anyone from active players here tell me if there is anything new in 2014? patches, updates ... anything?

I hope they ll come back to Endless Space once they are done with Endless Legend and Dungeon of the Endless.



They are currently applying things they learned from ES to EL so chances are they can do it the other way around once they find some time. Endless Space might be pseudo-dead by now but it still has potential. Its probably just my love for the game talking and if I wasnt to darn useless at modding (tried it....pathetic) the modding section would be SWAMPED by now ^^

They should have done better about it, they should have done some additional updates and having organized some events. Even a second expansion. Maybe.



I hope that will not do the same misstake for EL !



ES died too fast. I hadnt even the time to buy it, it was already dead...

I think Amplitude will do better next time
