Well, the game came out in 2012

It is very hard to keep a passionate community about a game, which came out two years ago. Now everyone is focused on the new, upcoming games (EL,DoE) and Endless Space is not a priority. I'm sure that Amp will maintain Endless Space and add a few updates in the fall.

I'm also sure that the community is not dead, there are people playing Endless Space, but posting about the upcoming games.

Well, there are like 12 or 15 people on this ES forum, not more. I consider it as dead.
