[Bug or Balance Issue?] Sophon Fighters

Basically, the Sophon level 2 fighter costs two special slots for the battle optimization, one for the 'balanced' optimization, and one for the 'invasion' optimization. Is this deliberate? It doesn't hold for the level 1 fighter, which makes me think its a bug...

Maybe it is fixed for the Sophons, but it certainly isn't fixed for the humans. But even with just one slot for these fighters, they're just not worth it. Shielded fighters should have more HP than regular fighters, not less. And in this case, as little as 1/9 the health of regular fighters. And the battle version shouldn't have fewer HP than the balanced version, either. The battle verision of the regular fighter outperforms the battle version of the shielded fighter in every single respect, and also outperforms the balanced version of the shielded fighter in all respects but one: total damage. And even so, only by 5 points. There is just never a reason to use shielded fighters, as things are currently.
