AI acts really weird in some situations I do agree with that. I sometimes get gifts from an Empire that has every reason and power to crush me. LOL. I'm like "OK bro"

Take a look at what he has done. If the mod is out, and the original developer has abandoned it, I guess it becomes public property. He credits the original development, and uses the mod and changes it up some.

How many mods are still active though? If a new version comes out, wouldn't the mods all be incompatible, and if their creators are inactive, unable to ever be updated?

Kingsguard took a few of my favorite mods and put them together. At this point, I am waiting to play ES again. Once the last bit of DEV adjustments get done, I'lll play with mods and only mods. I have done everything I've wanted to do with the game in it's current state.

I've been waiting for one last good patch to make ES feel complete. Then I will start modding again, I managed to collect so many ideas in this last year.

ES2, is probably in the works. ES sold really well, and there is the last patch, but knowing Amplitude, it will be an add-on (crosses fingers and wishes real hard).

That is sad but understandable because they have two other games in developement. I just wished that there were going to be more content coming

But hopefully there will be ES2 in the future

No they're (technically) not, they promised us one last patch for ES (when EL was released [anditis]) and they have no plans (that I know of) for any more DLCs (other than Vaulters for everyone, not just DotE founder pack people). This is suppose to be the very last patch.

I hope they fix the AI. It's kind of ridiculous when you're crushing an empire and they're like 'hey, let's cease fire. It's completely fair!', and won't accept a cease fire deal where they actually pay you or something. Or when you're in an alliance how the ai constantly cease fires / declares war.
