Every time I try to ctrl-right click a ship, it just tries to set a waypoint instead now. It's been a while since I last played, and I see the waypoints are a nice addition, but surely the intention wasn't to remove warping. Is it bound to a different hotkey now?

(and yes, I've researched atmospheric filtration.. :sarcasticsmiley: smile

I noticed in late game if you don't hit CTRL + destination system my ships will take larger route and even move trough other races territory and thus be intercepted by enemy fleets.

bad because it forces you to use warp instead of strings just to avoid such stupid fleet movements and exposing them to move trough enemy territory smiley: frown

Same problem here, can't roam freely into space anymore. My ship is on an enemy system, i want to try to go an unexplored star from there, but it forces me to use the lanes and almost surely get killed by some random encounter with a war ship. Is this a bug or is it linked with the fact i am at war or on a fully colonized enemy system?

When I try it, it does display the "rally-point mode" message but it still works for ordering fleets to warp, at least if I click on an enemy system.

Note: Rally point only kicks in if you hit the LEFT Ctrl key.

Thats what I've been using all this time, but even though it displays rally point mode I was able to order the selected fleet to warp to the location.

Edit: Played around with it some more. Looks like the pathfinding just did the warping for me in most of those situations anyway. Using Right-Ctrl is definitely the way to go.
