I'd like to see some information on the third race depicted in the diplomatic relations screenshot (the "Conehead" as someone called it) I wonder what kind of feeling they'll have and if they're really as human-looking as that hologram suggests.

Talk about taking narcissm to the next level. I admit they look pretty interesting. Judging by the appearance of their ships, I'm guessing they're the "get in fast, shoot everything to bits, get out before they can hurt you" type. Personally I prefer heavily armored ships over raw speed, but the design is very well done.

Not typical race story for 4x strategies. Applause your fantasy!

Here is the Cravers' leader, who in fact is 3.5 meters tall. The spikes sticking from the backs of the Cravers are trophies snatched from enemy armor or ships (or weapons). The bigger the "backpack", the tougher the Craver is. This big baby wears a large backpack but has less armor for a good reason: Craver drones don't care much about their physical integrity. Judging by the samples in the hero creation contest topic I'd say that some clones come closer to Horatio's appearance than others and that those who display undesired personality traits are usually destroyed unless they display favourable abilities or their likeness to Horatio is above-average.

But I have 1 question : what about differences between Horatios ? As they all are breed from the Horatio DNA, what conscience do they really reach ? I mean, can a horatio hero have some independant mind or all they all bind to the great Horatio ? Moreover it's said that they are all created visually appealing for Horatio. Do they all really look the same or close ?

It would be überKool (did you see the Kiwi in that word ?) to have heroes skills renamed thematically : like for the Horatios, instead of "Battle rage" you have "Burning Tattoo" or "Tatto this" or "Tatoo that".

That is one of the weirdest ideas for a race i've ever seen. I love the idea but i'm dreading any associated voice acting. I picture them all sounding like Shakespeare!

Well he was the first dev we used the bind-spell on and the side-effect of that was slowhands apperance (besides having solentis sticking around due to the bindspell) and spilling the news of the Horatio.



As for who the Horatio seems alike in some respect is Cybrans from Supreme commander... its just not as much narcissism there...
