I just want to say congratulations to the Amplitude team on *nearly* reaching alpha. I am very excited to see the pre-orders opening up soon. There are a lot of games I'm interested in coming out in May, but I'd say Endless Space is currently at or near the top of my priority list. I really feel like it is going to be something special.

I'm more than happy that the game takes only 2Gb of hard disk space, it will be downloaded fast and will take little space on my SSD !

i have a nice SSD... but it's my MacBook Pro. 3D and image work is uber fast and amazing start up speed. PC just don't get upgraded anymore

What will the availability be for the game (the pre order package)?

Europe only?

Please include Asia if possible.

So the latest news Max posted: something pretty big is coming, trailer, pre-orders, release date announcement?!

Also can't wait for the other cool stuff being announced today!

Edit: something I wanted to ask the devs regarding pre-order becoming available soon, is the release date going to be announced at the same time? On steam most of the games that can be pre-ordered have a release date announced, what would be the case with ES?

I found an error in the news

It says there's 5 races shown. But We have Cravers, UE, Horatio and Sophon. That's only 4. Isn't it ?

And the artwork for ES on steam is... O_o WoW. Can I have it for wallpaper ? Please.
