So I bought the alpha off steam cause I liked the where the synopsis was going. I downloaded it about 11-o-clock Saturday night and figured I would take a quick look at it to see if it was worth my 20+ bucks. Next time I look at the clock its 4 in the morning. I mean come on, I have classes to attend, papers to write, mid-terms to study for... Anyway lost my first game and now I'm closing in on 20 hours, probably pass that mark later today smiley: smile

No more than 5 hours. I love the game, but browsing the forums to try to help/discuss things just take so much time smiley: biggrin

Moreover I already know I'll play that game for a long time. So I don't feel rushed to play it. I want to take my time.

The wait is what gives it value.

I only got one session in but the game played so great and I was really hooked so it lasted a solid 6 hours in one day. That's not bad at all!

Since final exams finished up last week, I can actually afford to play video games, so I pre-purchased the Emperor edition this past weekend. Already I have clocked 24 hours in-game. It has blown my mind.

Have 10 hours in so far. Hoping to start another game soon that I'll go a lot more micro-management on. Been playing with the AI governers on my first 2 games and I think I need to micro-manage for the time being.

I'm now passed 25. Would love to play more but I get discouraged because usually after 100 or so turns a bug causes the game to become unplayable in some form. Can't wait for the next patch really badly as I just love this game.
