Hey

I usually just rename my home system to the name of the race I'm playing. Also if I see a system that reminds me of something else i rename it to that like theres a system called Lacreta, I change it to Lucrezia from the Assassin Creed series. Just things like that but I usually just keep the names as they are.

I chose 'every single one!' because it had an exclamation point, wahahah! But I don't actually change them ALL the time - just very often. I try to come up with a theme - a recent Hissho game, for example, has assigned each a system as a military 'district'. Naming stuff is fun, wehehe!

I haven't been renaming any of systems up till now but I may start.

I usually remember which of my systems is which by their default names so Ibany may be my best industry system and Veran my best science. Unfortunately I think I have had an Ibany and a Veran in every game I've played and I'm starting to get confused which Ibany is which

I like to rename my colonized planets because it makes them stand out - and I can also go back and claim what was rightfully mine from the ai.

Don't do it every system straightaway - I tend to do it once the influence border is up though.

Renaming is good for the above reason, use it to organize production of FIDS and setting up defenses, ship churning and the like...

Good idea for planets too, science planet, industry planet, dust planet and the beloved food planet =D

I thought it was great that Endless Space made it so easy to change the name of a system (particularly for a sci-fi nerd like myself)

While I don't use it a large majority of the time, I sometimes can't help it when an opportunity arises, it's just a shame that the desert planet with the dust lode on it wasn't the third planet in this particular system...

I would like to have the opportunity to rename my systems yes, mainly for RP and/or organizational purposes. But it's not like I can't live without such a feature, it would just be a small plus.
