Oh noes, my Cruisers require Titanium-70 to build! Not to worry, I've already researched it, so I'll just colonize... um...

Enter in the problem this thread addresses: How do I 'search' the galaxy map for a given resource that I just discovered I need? (Assuming it exists!)

Apparelenty its quite rare in some map generations, but it should apear near the name of the systems like other resources.

Oh...

I usually play zoomed out far enough that those don't show. It's not QUITE as good as a screen that lists the systems where a given resource can be found (Civ provides something similar), but 'good enough' I suppose.
