I'm Blue, in a cold war with Green. So I can't enter his space around ALTAIR, but I should be able to attack his outpost at RHEA. So I tried going Warp Drive from that empty system QORUM through empty space to RHEA. But no go, it wouldn't let me.

Ok, whatever, right? So I decide to click on that unexplored star near the bottom, thinking my fleet will just sail down that long string connected it to QORUM. But no! My fleet used warp drive to jump to RHEA and then take the right-hand string down to the unexplored planet.

As it turns out, the very next turn RHEA went from Outpost to Colony. Which might explain why I wasn't able to use it as a destination, but doesn't quite jive with using it as a travel point, right?

Sometimes it can be insanely difficult to select a planet by clicking on it. Are you sure it isn't that? Sometimes I have to zoom out, zoom in, and go to a different screen before I can eventually select the planet. That's the only reason I can think of, why you could not move there directly.

Quite possibly the greatest disservice that Albert Einstein perpetrated upon the people of the world is the popularization and acceptance of the "thought experiment."

I have had ships decide to take a route which takes 4 turns (because of wormholes) instead of a direct path connected by a string between my own systems because there were less 'movement points' in between. It seems movement AI doesn't like to take into account enemy systems or wormholes.

Maclardal has suggested in one of the multiple threads on this. It seems the AI thinks a wormhole takes *1* movement point instead of taking *all your remaining* movement points. This seems consistent with all the reports I have seen. Do you think there may be some bug besides this?

Who knows, probably not. It's still hell of annoying.

That has happened to me as well. It seems to right itself through opening and closing various windows. At first I thought it had something to do with the nearby supernova random event screwing with your nav paths.....But I'm still not sure.
