For those that are seeing higher usage check the games vsync setting - enable it and see if your fan issues are reduced.

Lol, my GPU never goes above 40c, its pretty low powered graphically, but I have a mega fan that came free with my case

it makes my GPU fan go nuts as well...before and now...

I actually underclock my card (manually set it to middle settings) on purpose for the game, find it really doesn't need all horse power it'll take, no need to run at 58-62c when 48-52 will do and get 60frames 90% of the time.

The whole game is a lot choppier for me now.

It was a smooth as a babies bum previous. Now the scrolling in and out feels a little clunky and everything just seems more forced for example clicking on a scout ship to move it is not as smooth as it was.

No update starting for me and in properties it says auto updating is off for this game. When I try and turn it on it defaults back to off when I exit.

Can anyone help?
