i am very curious about this game, i am very tempted to buy it, but i need to know more, then videos and descriptions.

like mechanics, story, tech, battles, how does it feel in general for other players.

i am rather new to this genre so i am very curious since i have played a game like this since homeworld 2

I don't know what you want more then video's (unless you mean promo videos vs. video of people playing for hours that are available around the web).

It's a great game that I'm loving so far and it was at a reasonable price and I'm not even into this genre lol.

i see, what i was meaning, is just like what is the game really like, videos can be rather deceiving, so i really just wanted the community to tell me what it is like

It's fun, serious you have much reading ahead of you though if your trying to get a feel for the game from the forums. I'd just watch some of the hour+ gameplay videos on youtube or twitch.tv you'll get a much better "feel" for the game. That's how I learned of it and bought it minutes after watching

thanks knight hawk, i have watched one of hour+ ones and it looks amazing, but it's good to hear from players of the game, so i will most likely buy it from word alone, but will watch more videos, thanks guys

I it is a lot of fun. I am a multiplayer gamer and am eagerly awaiting that functionality in the beta release, but I have already put in 60 hours of this game in less than a week. If you want to get a general idea of how the game is played check out the tutorial linked in my signature. In just a number of images you can get an idea of what the gameplay is like. However I don't really talk about combat directly, and right now that is the games weakest point in my opinion.

Basically, I haven't actually got to combat yet, but it is by no means the weakest point of the game, granted it's your opinion.

I have had a lot of fun with the alpha so far, and at this price it beats out many of the other strategy games currently out!
