How to move ships? Bug?

Hi,



Just down loaded the game from STEAM.



I can't seem to get my ships to move.



I selected the fleet and right clicked on the star. A trail came up as if the ship would move... 43 turns later the ship/fleet did not move.



Also, once I slected a research project, I couold not unlock it or remove it from the research queue. Any sugestions?

Not exactly a bug as much as a conflict with steam. I would be willing to bet that you Shift+Tabbed to the Steam client. When this happens, the game thinks you are constantly holding down shift. Simply press shift again, and it should fix it.

Since Steam will open the notification box with the "Promo-Code" for steam users automatically upon start (unless we turn off the reminder popup with the code), the Steam Overlay will automatically be kicked in. Since we usually Shift+TAB out, or in some cases, click the overlay away with the mouse, we will get this issue.
