How about beautiful, stunning, wallpaperlike battle scenes?

This is a suggestion that doesn't really affect the current game, so if you consider it, postpone it to around release.

I am a huge fan of the awesome 3D battles, and I think every single frame would make an awesome wallpaper.

So I think that the UI in the battle scenes should be optional/triggerable, same with cards or at least their visual effects.

Also, a replay function for the battle scenes couldn't hurt, manual camera movement, maybe even a 'export to video file...'-function, but that might be a bit too much.

To sum this up, having a triggerable UI in the battles, a replay function and control over the camera would lead to extremely nice wallpapers and videos.

I am willing to bet that someone with uber video editing skills can split combat vids with live action segments of talking heads from TV-series or movies to produce an awesome youtube vid.

If immersion ever gets that far, imagine having cuts of the battles in generic news reports on battles taking place? I may be dreaming a bit there, but come on, that would be awesome.

"There are scattered reports of a major engagement in the Sirkhis system, we've got some visual footage that just came in.."
