I prefer B. A is way too symmetrical and rather silly looking. B at least resembles the Amoeba ships, which I see as symbolic of their desire to travel.

C is too much like a currency symbol, but I'd still prefer it over A...

I picked A, but can totally live with B. Honestly, though, all designs say something about the faction, from A's shape, B's meaning, and even C's cosmopolitanism. Maybe the thought of branching factions within the species should have the other logos... kinda...

I personally prefer C (the cheese stand alone, once again), because of the feeling of flow I get from it. I just found it most fitting with the lore of the race.

But I can't understand why so many people prefer A, it looks like an unimaginitive attempt at an ink splotch. And failing even at that. Too "done".

Not sure what it is about A but.... the others just didn't <FEEL> quite right for some reason even though b has the sort of appendage that many mono-celluars use to get around. Hmmmmmmmmm.

For me B looked not suitable because it looks too good for a Amoeba

and C ... it looks more like a Brand of Some alien Capitalist entrepreneur.

Isn't a racial icon supposed to be a bit more pleasing than realistic? Hell, it's not like we'd stick a starfish (ifyougetwhatImean) as a human icon, but instead put something nice and shiny there.

And I'd love to see an amoeba that actually looks like A.

Seeing the Amoeba can seperate their body and mind and want to protect them after as much as possible. I chose B because I saw the wave as the Amoeba spirit protected by the hull of the ships where it is.

I picked B because of the wave pattern - makes me think of a "flood" of ships that slowly fly through space. "A" just seemed too complex and symmetric for me. C makes me think of a galactic currency character. Like the ones they use in scifi video games.

B... I think it represents the live form best..

Even if you think a Amoeba should look like A.. you wouldnt choose a human figure for the logo of a human race either would you?

(not to mention that amoeba that actually are symmetrical are really rare... amoebas are just... blobs)
