I would love to have a windowed fullscreen option for this game. This is so it plays well with multiple monitors, and is a minor quality of life issue for me.

Go into Options, select Graphics tab, and uncheck Fullscreen.

In the next item down, choose your favorite resolution.

With the latest update additonal modes were added (or at least fixed).

I am running happily at 1600 x 900 now - If any of the Devs are watching, I would prefer to be able to stretch the window to whatever size suits in Windowed mode (not sure how much work that entails though).

Also being able to maximize in Windows mode (window stretches to fit desktop excluding the task bar) would be cool too.

I'm also hoping for this.

AngleWyrm, that is just 'windowed' mode, not full screen windowed. With full screen windowed, there is no title bar and the program uses the entire screen, but you can freely mouse off the edge of it or have other windows on top of it without it minimizing itself automatically like it does in full screen. EvE Online and World of Warcraft are both great examples of the kind of behavior I'd like to see, and Civ5 does it somewhat less gracefully.

It looks to me that some games have more of a problem with a fully adjustable or maxed windowed mode due to how they deal with their UI scaling.

If the ui elements stay the same size but change position it doesnt appear to be an issue but if the ui scales to the window size then you have to have a fully scaling ui (rather than a set of ui's drawn to specific windows sizes.

In the case of ES if the UI size was set by the desktop resolution but it centred itself on the screen I think that would do it ----- Please smiley: wink
