Much I could say, but the core just is "astonishing music" ... I love it, nothing less ... caught me leaving the main menu on just to listen to it especially ... ^^

Just FYI, the official digital soundtrack will be available at the release of the game (it's on the Steam Store description of the game).

Its great. Usually I hate it when games keep playing their music while minimized but Endless Space's music adds some ambience to my browsing lol.

Like the music a lot too.

The only thing I could see changed is the menu theme. Something more spacey and ambient would be nice. Just my thought.

Another show of love for the music from me. After my first game session I desperately checked to see if I could find the soundtrack amongst the game files, and then noticed that I'll get it eventually anyway with the pre-order bonus on Steam, when Endless Space is released. When will the game be out of alpha/beta and be released for real so we can add the tracks to our libraries?

This music is really good, fits the game pretty well. It's nice to find some devs who knows about how really important is the music on a game of this kind. Oh, congratulations to the musicians!

I'm not the only one at my house who likes it either: I was playing with the speakers on (rather than headphones) and my wife asked me who the neat music was (I listen to a lot of electronic music) - I said it was from a game and she was very surprised!

Yup totally reminded me of that, remarked about that even before I owned the game while watching someone's cast, actually the main background music far more so then the combat.

As much as I love it though they gotta add a couple more or else I'll eventually get sick of it, though I'm not there yet. Adding our own mp3s to a folder to play

would be nice as well (or whatever format they require).

I love the music in this game, really adds to the atmosphere of the game. Any possibility of getting the mp3's somewhere? I'd love to listen to this while I'm writing or something.

The music is excellent, yes, but I think the sound is great, period. All the little bweeps and boops when you click on stuff, or get notifications, there's not an annoying one in the bunch, and they all just 'fit'. A great job from beginning to end.

Yeah definitely great music. I would like a bit more diversity though (especially for battle phases, where I sometimes would like to hear something else - not that the music is not great, far from that it's awesome. But since it doesn't have the same "feeling" as the galactic map music, and is more intense, I would like my spaceships charges to sound different time to time).

I love the music - the combat music is amazingly awesome, and the ambient soundtrack is something I could write to - to expound a bit, that's high praise for my worldview. Great stuff!

The soundtrack is very important to the game and for the ones that are pre-ordering you will get digital soundtrack at release.

The soundtrack for the game is absolutely perfect and it definitely sets the tone

I still haven't gotten sick of it after over 20 hours in-game and I usually mute a soundtrack much sooner than that in strategy games

Seconded! I'd really love to be able to listen to that soundtrack outside of the game.

If anyone who worked on the soundtrack is ever on the forums you guys did a fantastic job! I've always felt as though its pretty critical for a turn-based game to have an engaging soundtrack during different phases of play and you guys pulled that off. The ES soundtrack expresses the space exploration/colonization theme really well.

Any chance we are going to get additional tracks for the game in the future?
