Will purchasing the Alpha now allow access to Mac version upon release?

I have a Mac computer and run Windows within a Parallels Virtual Machine. I am considering pre-ordering the game so I can play the Alpha in Parallels, but I would ultimately want the Mac version when it is available. If I purchase the game now (while it is listed as Windows only on Steam), will I have access to the Mac version when the game is released?

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, "Mac" is not a valid search term it seems.

Many Devs like 2K(Civilization series) make them available to both, i.e Both versions being listed on Steam but only 1 being playable depending on what OS you are currently using.

i imagine itd be the same way for Endless.

Well I hope so, because I went ahead and purchased :-p

I couldn't help myself. So far it runs pretty good in Parallels.

For whatever reason it actually seems to run smoother on my stupid MacBook in Bootcamp W7 than my real windows machine. Might be because of different drivers though, the latest Nvidia drivers seem kinda unstable for a few games.

The game you are pre-ordering now will indeed be available for Mac when it is released.

I've read in many places that the Apple Laptops make for excellent Windows machines. I'm just amazed at how smoothly the game is running in a Virtual Machine. Barring a couple of blue screens, it runs like butter.
