Space Battles - Something between Auto and Manual?

I am loving this game. However the one thing that makes me roll my eyes every time is the space battle. I love playing the cards, so I don't want to just auto it. However, there's no skipping the animations, so it frustrates me to have to wait around and see how my next card will play. Could there be an option to skip the animations as a card is played? Just a way to turn that on or off would be sweet.

Sorry if this ends up needing to be moved for whatever reason.

yeah that would really help speed things up after watching it 30 times.

But let it be an option. I like this animation, besides I often changes second and third card as a respond on casualities or AI cards.

As a third in battle like Half-Maual or so where you only select the card would be really nice.

I'd like to see the battle system completed first before I say that this is a good idea for sure, but I think this'd be a neat option to have. I might never use it though, watching the battles is part of the reason I bought this game and even if they are a bit repetitive I love them.
