Hello guys, I decided to start a visual record of how the ships look like and the different weapons.

This might help us getting a feeling of how far the "other" guy is going on the Weapon Tech Tree.

Below we have a fight between my Hissho Destroyers and some evil Cravers.

The weapon being used here is the High Isotope Slug, the first available to the Hissho - 6 rounds per salve.

Good idea. Are you going to post the complete ship designs?

And who wins and with what amount of live in wich phase?

Well that wasn't my intention. My ideia was more to help us recognize the type of weapon the enemy is using because each weapon has it speccial effect and number of rounds. Though its hard to always get a good angle in the fight!

But sure! It could be fun, a sort of battle journal!

We could take a print screen at the end of each phase to see how it evolves! And also post the ship design, yes. Its doable I guess. Care to help out?

I took some screens of my battles. To show the volley exchange. Now if I had only ever bothered to find out where Steam stores those screens x) Not much chances to get angles, what with my fleets tending to wipe them out in the first salvo.

You can find them in the installation folder of Steam/userdata/... or when you take a screenshot using the shortkey from Steam, usually it opens a pop-up where you can put the captions, below there is a button to send you to the folder where they are stored.

You should try to take screenshot when they fire, not when the ennemy ship is touched. Good luck.

Yap. Not easy at all!

Here is a close up to the Hissho Destroyer firing the High Isotope Slug, the first kinetic weapon available to them.

Check out the first post (Ships screenshots) in this thread. The images of the ships in the Ship Design View have been provided by Cauld.

Here it's more about the design of the weapons when they are fired if I understood, not the ships.

Yes, my original intention was to create a visual database of how the different weapons look like when they are fired, I thought it could help us to get an ideia of where the other factions are on the tech tree since we can't see what exact weapons they are using by looking to the stats of the combat. But a visual of how a combat ends based on the cards played and type of weapons used could be usefull.

I'd love something that showed the combat cards played and how the combat ends. I've been looking at doing screen shots so I could see how the Battle Cards worked & played out. See what blocks what the best kind of thing.
