The age of greatness is now, we are living in the age of the Endless, but which one would you be, a Virtual or a Concrete, and why? (If you're not sure of the difference, read this).

I personally would choose to be a Concrete. I like the idea of shaping my body as I wish into whatever corporeal image, not merely existing as a digitized mind, but as a corporeal being whose tactile experiences are still processed through the biological machine.

Why can't you be both, according to the lore many endless stuck to a middle ground between the two. Many sci-fi's such as Ghost in the Shell portray a society where people can move between the two and people who choose only 1 are deemed radical fanatics.

Same for me. It would be nice to be virtual and able to upload to a body to interact with with the enviroment or others.

That's a good point. I suppose we can take this as a leaning preference and if you're really strong on the middle ground approach, then "I wouldn't mine being either" seems to be the best slot for that.

Concrete, I prefer the desires of the flesh.

And since you can't die anyway, I see no point in being a virtual mind as I only see the appeal of that if you were mortal.

Probably virtual, though in reality I'd rather be a mix of both, eternal mind in a machine but with free choice of any body. Gotta stick with the best of both worlds.
