First I need to state that I won't be monitoring this or any other thread that I create so replying as tho your talking to me is pointless I don't hold my own discussions I just like to get things moving from time to time if a topic seems to be conspicuously absent.

The way that wormholes are handled in this game is rather odd. Wormholes as they stand are more like gates that bar exploration until you acquire the key that unlocks them than anything else. In short, they are too much like the strings, which them selves stray quite far away from accepted physics. The game would be a bit more interesting if the wormholes were displayed as the usual vortexes and would occupy the space that a star normally would. This seems like a tiny thing until you see that each randomly spawned wormhole is connected to a random second wormhole that could be anywhere on the map. An interesting addition could be unstable wormholes that could quite simply, drop you anywhere. The current wormholes would still exist, just under a different name, as their functioning creates handy choke points. This is an awfully major change that I suggest which wouldn't be easy to implement, but as it stands, wormholes just don't FEEL like wormholes to me. I clearly remember the frustration of having a survey ship go through a wormhole in GalCiv and having it take centuries to get back home, while I'm glad that this game isn't setup in a way in which such a thing isn't an issue, I am frequently disappointed by developers who miss use terminology for the sake of game play.

Yes that paragraph is a bit of a "hot mess" but that comes with being socially awkward, I apologize if any posts like I make need a little deciphering, although I do always try to get spelling and grammar right. English is my only language but it can be a total pain. Yes I tend to ramble once I get started, yes this sentence which is quickly turning into a paragraph is a horrific waste of time, and yes the inside of my head looks even worse than this. O h dear god I don't even know what I'm doing at this point. <(^_^)><(^_^)><(^_^)><(^_^)><(^_^)>

I just mite be insane. Right/rite and might/mite piss me off. Ummmmmm yeah,I have issues. About time I stop. I'm never going to "read" the end of this.Look at me I'm a meme.

I have no problems with them as they are.

Also, your posting style fills me with rage. Congrats, I guess.

I like them also as at least early on they act as nice bottlenecks to either contain or defend against another empire

Would not be bad if you could use way point your fleets around. Other wise your fleet could jump and then lose a few battle fleets which would not be good. So that could be painful. Great idea, but not sure it is a good way for that to happen at this point.

I'll just consider this as a "please close this thread"-request.
