Anyone else been having the issue on having another empires influance accross your space lanes and unable to be going through it?

It's quite annoying and I'm wondering if this is a fault or feature.

Feature (I think). You have to declare war on them or get an open borders treaty.

Its annoying if you have your empire split in two parts because of this.

But you can deal with it. And it is a feature.

Yeah, and once you research the proper warp drive, you can sail at will thru their territory. You just can't use the strings. Was fighting a war, as UE, across the Hissho with another UE faction my last game. Just sailed thru their territory without using strings. Wonder if that pissed them off, as they declared war on me after a while. Course, I had also been expanding like a mofo, had already ate a diff UE faction and smashed the Cravers, tho hadn't finished them off. Don't like wasting my time occupying Craver garbage piles. When they asked for a cease fire I gave it to them so I wouldn't have to cripple my economy with their useless depleted worlds. Can't wait for Raze Worlds.

You cannot move through other empire's influence, unless at war or having an open borders treaty with said empire.
