Question. Enemy fleets in my system.

My current game is setup so I can play with all the tech. I have my only enemy in the potition where he cant win. However he keeps making crappy scounts and sending them to my main system one at time and I need a new fleet each time to destroy them otherwise it disrupts resources from this system.



Is this right or have I misunderstood ?



If I am right why ?, if I have a fleet in system with the defence option active should the scout be able to get close enough to the system to disrupt or should it have to break my defence first ?

I'm not quite sure if I can answer your question because I didn't quite understand it, but I assume that you have boxed in your enemy, are guarding the bottleneck entrances to your systems with fleets, and are nevertheless finding enemy scout ships in your main systems blockading planets, right?



Now I'm unsure about this, but it may be that the guard/intercept mode is not quite fully working yet in the alpha or, alternatively, perhaps scout ships are excluded from being affected by the guard/intercept mode?



But anyway, I doubt you need a full fleet to destroy some free-roaming enemy scouts, so dispersing a few ships here and there to hunt doen enemy scouts should work, right? Sorry if this doesn't work for you, but let us know what you did in the end smiley: smile
