When having many planets finnish at the same time administration of new production can be a little tough. Especially if I by mistake click on the right button and still not ready and some planets got no new production. So IMHO the window shouldent be closable just minimized. If this happen or if game is saved and closed before list is gone thrue and new production is set the only way to redeem this is by move thrue the planet list dont knowing what previous production was if u got plenty of them.

Also when Im finnished with a planet, 2 exit button could improve the admin load. 1: Normal exit to map and the 2nd back to prod report list. Will save many clicks in a session.



Ships in hangar could be easyer to handle from fleet menu especiall when handling many newly produced ships. So separating prod admin with creating new fleets for easier control.



This is my thoughts ofcourse, no one play alike but I would use this if option was awailable.

Once I hit turn 50 or so I have so many systems under my control that I just use the Empire Overview screen for practically everything. Only stuff like ship production will have me hunting for a nearby system on the map, and even then it's easy enough to memorize a couple of system names. You can also use this screen to create fleets. Try clicking the column headers to sort the list.



It's probably the most well done Overview screen I've seen in a 4X. In fact, so far everything about this game is "probably the most well done thing I've seen in a 4X", and I've played far more than my fair share of 4X's.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly Swedewolf,

but I think it would help a lot (in pointless clicks)

once you've clicked the production report list,

clicked to go directly to a system there and set a new production,

close the system window,

you would return to the production report list immediately.



In other words, it would stay open/on top until you minimalize/dismiss it.



Not sure wether that would be possible/ or even something other people would like as well.
