Were you can fly ships whenever you want, can survey stuff, build bases in space. It could be really best muliplayer strategy game ever.

You can use really fast scout ship, so enemy cant pursuit you with heavy armored ship, .. great. You can fly not only from system to system (planet-planet) but use all space, change directions.

GalCiv 2 is not the game that Endless Space is. If you want a game where you can fly ships however you want, play GalCiv2, or Evochron Mercenary, SotSE, EVE, and so on.

I actually like having star lanes over the empty space in Galactic Civ. The only time I liked open space was in MoO2, where systems where still contained.
